Your Wedding Photography FAQs

Things you'll want to know

This is a big decision you should have lots of questions! So to make things easy for you guys I’ve listed some of my most frequent wedding photography FAQs here. And if you think of anything else please do get in touch.

Can our guests take photos?

Yes of course Crazy Happy Love is all about sharing the love and everyone enjoying the day. But please bear in mind I have a lot to capture that day – it’s why I’m there. If guests are getting in the way of me getting you the images you want I will ask them to stop because I have a job to do right. Most ceremonies only allow official photographs anyway because an unplugged ceremony is more enjoyable for everyone. When it’s portrait time I will take the two of you away from your guests for some portraits and find a private spot as it’s hard to relax with an audience.

How long will our photographs take, we don’t want to miss the champagne?

You can not miss that champagne I won’t hear tell of it! Photo shoot time will be fun, relaxed and you can bring the bubbly!  No massive treks or huge long photo sessions. How long you spend on photos varies depending on what you want to get. Take into account where you would like your photos taken and how many family or friends photos you would like to set up. Generally I like to take 20-40mins alone with the couple to get them some lovely portraits. I’ll always use more time if they have time and are up for more photos.  Family shots take a little time to set up after that and I’ll get some wedding party helpers so it runs smoothly.

About Your photos

things you may have wondered about

How long does it take to get our photos?
In the interest of not missing anything important I shoot a lot of images on the day and edit these to make sure all your photos look great. I’ll cut out ones where there are eyes closed or bad angles don’t worry! My usual turnaround time is 4-6 weeks for your full online gallery. Album design takes 2 weeks from you choose your photos until I send you a proof. Album print time is generally 2-3weeks but does vary in peak wedding season.

Do we get all of our photos?
I give all my couples a USB of their images high quality and print ready. This means you can print them, share with friends and make thank you cards. You will get around 700 photos or more depending on the size of your ceremony and your coverage. Please bear in mind I do shoot extra to allow for blinks, missed focus, light changes and so on.  You will get the best of the images minus some with obvious eyes closed and the likes. I do not supply RAW images only the finished versions as the final appearance is a bit part of the process and I like to make sure it’s perfect for you.

Can we print our photos?

Yes you can print until your hearts content I love when people print their photos out. I also offer gorgeous linen covered albums starting from £450. To complement these I have stunning parents albums from £100 for a set of two. I’m happy to organise prints for you as well and each wedding will have a web gallery for you to view your photos online.
